Description: A vulnerability has been discovered in w00t Gallery, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to insufficient checks within the index.php file, which can be exploited to bypass the login mechanism.
Successful exploitation allows accessing the administrative functions on a w00t Gallery installation without valid user credentials, but requires valid user credentials on another installation on the same web server.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.4.0. Other versions may also be affected.
