Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Novell NetWare, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to unspecified parameters in the Welcome web-app is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerability is reported in version 6.5 SP5 and 6.5 SP6.

Solution:
The vendor recommends to disable the Welcome web-app (see vendor advisory for details).
