Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Hitachi Directory Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to errors in the handling of LDAP requests and can be exploited to crash the service, cause memory leaks, or cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted, invalid LDAP request.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2. Prior versions may also be affected.
