Description:
CorryL has reported two vulnerabilities in logahead UNU edition, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and compromise vulnerable systems.

1) The bypass vulnerability is caused due to an error in the extras/plugins/widged/_widged.php script, which allows unauthenticated people to upload files to the server.

2) The extras/plugins/widged/_widged.php script fails to validate the extension of an uploaded file. This can be exploited to upload files with arbitrary extensions (e.g. ".php") and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version final.01 downloaded before 2006-12-26. Prior versions may also be affected.
