Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Pagetool, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks or to compromise vulnerable systems.
1) Input passed to the "ptconf[src]" parameter in src/admin/pt_upload.php when the "config_file" parameter refers to an existing file is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
2) Input passed to the "news_id" parameter in index.php (when "name" is set to "pagetool_news") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.07. Other versions may also be affected.
