Description: Tan Chew Keong has reported a vulnerability in PowerArchiver, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within PAISO.DLL when processing ISO files containing long pathnames. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted ISO file containing a file within several nested directories.
The vulnerability is reported in version 9.64.02. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 9.64.03.
