Description
David Kierznowski has discovered a vulnerability in WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed to the "file" parameter in wp-admin/templates.php is not properly sanitised before being stored. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in an administrative user's browser session in context of an affected site when the templates.php script is accessed.

Successful exploitation requires that the target user is logged in with administrator privileges.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.0.5. Other versions may also be affected.
