Description: Kevin Finisterre has reported a vulnerability in iLife iPhoto, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error when handling Photocast XML feeds and can be exploited via a Photocast XML feed with a specially crafted "title" tag with format string specifiers.
Successful exploitation requires that the user e.g. is tricked into subscribing to a malicious Photocast feed.
The vulnerability is reported in version 6.0.5 (316). Other versions may also be affected.
