Description:
A security issue has been reported in OpenVMS, which can be exploited by malicious local users to disclose sensitive information.

An unspecified error results in the password being written to the audit log when a connection attempt with a correct password is made after a "network breakin" event.

The security issue is reported in OpenVMS Alpha V8.2.
