Description: Adonis (a.k.a. NtWaK0) and Abed (a.k.a. NoPh0BiA) have discovered a security issue in SecureKit Steganography, which can be exploited by malicious people to gain knowledge of sensitive information.
The problem is that the passwords for the carrier file can be replaced by a new password generated by an attacker by replacing specific bytes within the target carrier file. This can be exploited to read hidden messages.
The security issue is confirmed in version 1.8 and also reported in version 1.7.1. Other versions may also be affected.
