Description: kian.mohageri has reported a vulnerability in Packeteer PacketShaper, which potentially can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an input handling error and can be exploited to cause the device to reset or reboot via an overly long string (around 1500 bytes) sent to e.g. the web interface.
Successful exploitation requires "look" or "touch" access to the device.
The vulnerability is reported in Packeteer PacketShaper 9500/ISP with PacketWise version 8.x.
