Solution: A stable version should be available shortly.
NOTE: The previously released versions (9.0.714.1, 9.0.715.1, and 9.0.718.1) supposedly fixing the security issue are still affected. Version 9.0.715.1 has implemented a command obfuscation scheme and therefore requires specially obfuscated commands sent to the service. Version 9.0.718.1 has implemented a weak authentication scheme, which needs to be brute forced.
Provided and/or discovered by: Carsten Eiram, Secunia Research.
Changelog: 2007-05-02: Added version 9.x as affected. Updated "Solution" section.
2007-05-10: Added information about version 9.0.715.1 being affected.
