Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in OpenBSD, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the handling of certain ICMP6 echo requests. This can be exploited to cause an infinite loop by sending a specially crafted ICMP6 echo request.

The vulnerability is reported in OpenBSD 3.9 and 4.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Apply patches.
