Description

Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Hitachi Web Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions or conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to certain parameters in various files in Hitachi Web Server is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Input passed via the "Expect" header in Hitachi Web Server is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

3) An error in the way Hitachi Web Server handles SSL 3.0 or TLS 1.0 protocols can be exploited by attackers to replace the connection with a connection using SSL 2.0 protocol.
