Description: Omid has discovered a vulnerability in PostNuke, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed in the "cover" parameter through index.php to modules/Reviews/index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user when previewing reviews. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
Successful exploitation requires that the target user is logged in.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.764. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Fixed in the Subversion repository.
Provided and/or discovered by: Omid
