Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the Linux Kernel, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or potentially gain escalated privileges.

1) A vulnerability is caused due to an error within the "listxattr" system call when interpreting "bad_inode_ops" return values, which can be exploited to cause a memory corruption.

Successful exploitation requires a bad inode.

2) A vulnerability is caused due to the "acct_stack_growth()" function in mm/mmap.c not correctly separating the stack space from hugetbl pages, which can be exploited to cause a kernel oops.

Successful exploitation may requires a PowerPC system.
