Description


ajann has discovered a vulnerability in PHPFootball, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to insufficient checks within the show.php file, which can be exploited to display arbitrary database tables.

Successful exploitation allows e.g. retrieving all usernames, userlevels and password hashes.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.6. Other versions may also be affected.


Solution:
Edit the show.php script to only display certain whitelisted database tables.
