Cyber-Security has reported some vulnerabilities in phpEventMan, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise vulnerable systems.
Input passed to the "level" parameter in Shared/controller/text.ctrl.php and UserMan/controller/common.function.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.0.2 downloaded before 2007-02-13. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 1.0.2 available from 2007-02-13.
