Description: A vulnerability has been reported in MediaWiki, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks.
Certain input related to the "sortable table" feature is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed.
The vulnerability is reported in 1.9.x versions prior to 1.9.2.
Note: Some path disclosure issues in wiki/skins/Simple.deps.php, wiki/skins/MonoBook.deps.php, wiki/skins/MySkin.deps.php, and wiki/skins/Chick.deps.php were also reported.
Solution: Update to version 1.9.2.
