Omid has reported a vulnerability in Mambo, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "id" parameter in an unspecified script is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries when cancelling content editing. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires valid user credentials.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 4.5.4 and 4.6.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 4.5.5 or 4.6.2.
