Description:
cocoruder has discovered a vulnerability in Alipay PTA Module ActiveX Control, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The problem is that the Remove() method of the Alipay PTA Module ActiveX Control (PTA.DLL) does not properly validate the argument passed to it. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted web site.

Successful exploitation requires that the user is e.g. tricked into visiting a malicious web site.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.4.2.471. Other versions may also be affected.
