|
|
Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in ACGVannu, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions, manipulate data, and disclose sensitive information.
1) An insecure authentication method in index2.php can be exploited to bypass authentication.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows editing site information, including e-mail addresses and passwords.
2) Input passed to the "rubrik" parameter in theme/acgv.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability with arbitrary file extensions requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that authentication is done correctly and that input is properly verified.
