| CVE reference: | CVE-2007-0952 CVE-2007-0928
|
|
Description: Some vulnerabilities and a security issue have been discovered in Virtual Calendar, which can be exploited by malicious people to gain knowledge of sensitive information and conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Incorrect permissions of the "pwd.txt" file can be exploited to disclose the password of the administrative user.
2) Input passed to the "sho" parameter (if the "m" parameter is not a value between and including 0 to 13) and to the "t" and "yr" parameters is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
Solution: Set correct file permissions. Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: 1) BorN To K!LL
