Description: mu-b has discovered a vulnerability in MailEnable, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within "NTLM_UnPack_Type3()" (MENTLM.DLL) when processing NTLM authentication data. This can be exploited e.g. to crash the IMAP or POP service via a specially crafted series of commands and data.
The vulnerability is confirmed in MailEnable Professional versions 2.35, 2.351, and 2.37. Other versions may also be affected.
