Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP-UX, which can potentially be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error when running ARPA transport.

The vulnerability is reported in HP-UX B.11.00 (obsolete), B.11.11 and B.11.23.

Solution:
Apply patches.

Install PHNE_35729 or subsequent.

HP-UX B.11.11:
Install PHNE_35183 or subsequent.

HP-UX B.11.23:
Install PHNE_35182 or subsequent.
