Description: M.Hasran Addahroni has reported two vulnerabilities in Interspire SendStudio, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise vulnerable systems.
Input passed to the "ROOTDIR" parameter in admin/includes/createemails.inc.php and admin/includes/send_emails.inc.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
Successful exploitation reportedly requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2004.14. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2004.15.
Provided and/or discovered by: M.Hasran Addahroni a.k.a. K-159
Changelog: 2007-02-22: Updated "Solution" section.
