Description:
Marsu Pilami has discovered a vulnerability in News File Grabber, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing NZB files and can be exploited to execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted NZB file.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but requires that the user is tricked into e.g. opening a malicious NZB file and double-clicking on the displayed selection or right-click and selecting "View Article" or "View Message headers".

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 4.1.0.1. Other versions may also be affected.
