Description:
Avaya has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in Avaya CMS (Call Management System), which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges or by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerabilities affect Avaya CMS V9, V11, R12, and R13/R13.1.

Solution:
According to the vendor, patches for Solaris 8 are currently being tested, patches for Solaris 9 are currently not available.
