Description:
ThE dE@Th has discovered two vulnerabilities in eFiction, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise vulnerable systems.

Input passed to the "path_to_smf" parameter in bridges/SMF/get_session_vars.php and bridges/SMF/logout.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.1.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 3.3.1.
