Description: A vulnerability has been reported in IBM DB2, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error, which can be exploited to bypass DB2 authorisation checks and perform "update" and "delete" actions on a table on which the user only has "select" privileges.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 8.1 and 9.1 GA through 9.1 FP1.
Solution: Update to version 8 fixpak 15 or 9.1 FP2.
