Description: Muschiemann has discovered a vulnerability in SHOUTcast, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed via the URL to the "incoming interface" is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in an administrative user's browser session in context of an affected site when the logfiles are viewed.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.9.7. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a web proxy.
