| CVE reference: | CVE-2007-1331 CVE-2007-1332
|
|
Description: Stefan Friedli has reported some vulnerabilities in ePortfolio, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions, and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to the unspecified use of client-side JavaScript code to validate input. This can be exploited to send potentially malicious data to the server or to e.g. execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Reportedly, the vendor is working on a fix. Affected customers should contact the vendor for a workaround.
