Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in EMC NetWorker, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to the Management Console using a weak authentication mechanism when connecting to NetWorker backup servers. This can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism and execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on affected servers.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 7.3.2 Jumbo Update 1, Build 386.
