Description:
Cesar Cerrudo has reported a vulnerability in Oracle Database 10, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to the incorrect use of the "SetSecurityDescriptorDacl()" function when performing various tasks such as setting the security attributes of the process, creating events, mutexes, and named pipes. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code with escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is reported in version 10g. Other versions may also be affected.
