Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in web-app.org WebAPP, where one has an unknown impact and others can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions or to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) An unspecified error in the handling of cookies can be exploited to gain privileged access to the application without having proper credentials.

2) A vulnerability caused due to an unknown error has also been reported.

3) The application allows the deletion of polls, profiles, IP bans, and forums without performing any validity checks to verify the request. This can be exploited by e.g. tricking a target administrator into visiting a malicious website.

4) Input passed to the search string in cgi-bin/cgi-lib/search.pl is not properly sanitised before it is returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 0.9.9.6. Other versions may also be affected.
