Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in NETxEIB OPC Server, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to errors in various OPC Data Access interface methods and can be exploited to e.g. cause the server to crash or overwrite arbitrary memory via specially crafted OPC handles.

Affected OPC Data Access interface methods:
IOPCSyncIO::Read
IOPCSyncIO::Write
IOPCServer::AddGroup
IOPCServer::RemoveGroup
IOPCCommon::SetClientName
IOPCGroupStateMgt::CloneGroup

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
