Description:
DarkFig has reported a vulnerability in MyBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed in the "Client-IP" HTTP header to index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation allows e.g. retrieving administrator IP addresses and SIDs, which can be used to log in as administrator and upload PHP files, which can then be exploited to execute arbitrary code.
