Description:
TippingPoint Security Research Team has discovered a vulnerability in America Online, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to the SuperBuddy ActiveX control (sb.dll) accepting a user-controlled object pointer as argument to the "LinkSBIcons()" method.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code when visiting a malicious website.
The vulnerability is confirmed in AOL 9.0 Revision 4156.910. Other versions may also be affected.
