CVE-2007-5187

Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in the Expanded Calendar module for PHP-Fusion, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "m_month" parameter in infusions/calendar_panel/show_event.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "sel" parameter in infusions/calendar_events_panel/show_single.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows e.g. retrieving administrator usernames and password hashes, but requires knowledge of the database table prefix and that the optional "Calendar Events Panel" is installed.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.00. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 2.02 downloaded after 2008-04-02.
