Will Dormann has reported some vulnerabilities in iPIX Image Well ActiveX control, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to unspecified errors within the iPIX Image Well ActiveX control (iPIX-ImageWell-ipix.dll) and can be exploited to cause buffer overflows when a user visits a malicious web site.
Successful exploitation may allow the execution of arbitrary code.
Solution: Set the kill-bit on the affected ActiveX control.
