Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Novell GroupWise, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the handling of base64 data supplied via HTTP authentication requests. This can be exploited to cause a stack based buffer overflow via a specially crafted request containing overly large data (at least 336 bytes).

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
