Description: A weakness has been reported in lftp, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The weakness is caused due to incorrect quotation of shell commands when generating a mirror script via the "mirror --script" feature. This can be e.g. be exploited to overwrite arbitrary files or execute command by enticing a user to create and run a mirror script for a malicious server.
The weakness is reported in versions prior to 3.5.9.
Solution: Update to version 3.5.9.
