Description: Jesper Jurcenoks has discovered some vulnerabilities in Advanced Guestbook, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information or to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed in the "lang" cookie to index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability with arbitrary file extensions requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
2) This vulnerability is caused due to lang/codes-english.php and images.php revealing the name of the database the program uses in error messages.
3) Input passed to the "picture" parameter in picture.php is not properly sanitised before it is returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
Successful exploitation of vulnerability #2 and #3 requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.4.2. Other versions may also be affected.
