Beschreibung:
Piotr Engelking hat ein Sicherheitsproblem in Python gemeldet, welches böswillige Personen ausnutzen können, um potenziell sensible Informationen zu enthüllen.
Das Sicherheitsproblem wird durch einen Off-By-One-Fehler in der Funktion "PyLocale_strxfrm()" Modules/_localemodule.c verursacht, welcher ausgenutzt werden kann, um bestimmte Bereiche des Speichers zu enthüllen.
Das Sicherheitsproblem ist in Python 2.4 und 2.5 gemeldet. Andere Versionen können ebenfalls betroffen sein.
Lösung:
Aktualisieren Sie auf Version 2.5.1.
