Description:
Tan Chew Keong has reported a vulnerability in yEnc32, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the decoding of NTX files. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via a malicious NTX file containing an overly long filename.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.0.7.207. Other versions may also be affected.
