KIM, KEE HONG has reported a vulnerability in KSignSWAT, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the AxKSignSWAT Module (AxKSignSWAT.dll) ActiveX control when handling the "SWAT_Login()", "SWAT_Init()", "SWAT_InitEx()", "SWAT_InitEx2()", and "SWAT_InitEx3()" methods. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an overly long argument passed to the affected methods.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 220.127.116.11. Other versions may also be affected.
