Jesus Roncero has reported a vulnerability in rdiffWeb, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose sensitive information.

Input passed to the "path" parameter in "/browse/" is not properly sanitised before being used to display files. This can be exploited to display arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.

Successful exploitation requires valid user credentials.

The vulnerability is reported in version 0.3.5. Prior versions may also be affected.


Solution:
Update to version 0.3.5.1.
