jadoba has reported a vulnerability in cpCommerce, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to the "name" parameter in register.php is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed e.g. in an administrative user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
