Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Vortex Library, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the select(2) I/O implementation. This can be exploited to overwrite the file set buffer and cause a remote listener to crash.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.0.3 on Linux and potentially other POSIX OS.
