Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM AIX, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within sysmgt.websm.rte and can be exploited to exhaust system memory.
Successful exploitation requires that WebSM is configured in client-server mode, applet mode, or remote client mode. Standalone application mode is reportedly not affected.
